About Us

Cradled between the celestial folds of Kuber Parvat and the revered Nar-Narayan Parvat, Badri Resort Mana (BRM) is an intimate Himalayan retreat that seamlessly blends spiritual heritage with understated luxury. Perched above the mystical valley through which the Alaknanda River flows in serene reverence, our resort evokes the essence of divine stillness and unspoiled natural beauty. Situated between Badrinath temple and Mana village, India’s first village.

Surrounded by snow-laden peaks and kissed by the sacred air of one of the four Char Dhams, BRM offers the rarest of luxuries—proximity to sanctity without compromising privacy. While just minutes away from the famed Badrinath Temple, the resort remains discreetly removed from the pilgrim bustle, creating an oasis of calm for the discerning traveller.

Adding to the exclusivity is our private helipad on the property, ensuring swift and seamless access for guests arriving by air, and offering a spectacular bird’s-eye view of the Himalayan canvas that surrounds us.

Religious Significance

The spiritual aura of BRM is not merely atmospheric—it is geographical. Located on the same side of the Alaknanda River as the Badrinath Temple, the resort shares a sacred alignment that no other does. Tradition holds that Rawal Ji, the revered chief priest of the temple, crosses the river only once during his tenure to assume his spiritual duties, returning only upon the completion of his sacred service.

Guests at BRM enjoy the rare privilege of being just 2.8 kilometres away from the temple by foot, following the same mountain paths trodden by saints, sages, and seekers for centuries.

Every September, this sanctity reaches a divine crescendo. It is believed that on a sacred day during this month, Lord Vishnu himself leaves the sanctum of the Badrinath Temple to visit his mother at Mata Mandir, a revered shrine located just 500 metres from our resort. In observance of this journey, the temple doors are ceremonially closed, and Rawal Ji accompanies the deity in an act of deep filial devotion. On that day, the path Lord Vishnu takes—passing directly parallel to our grounds—becomes a conduit of immense religious energy, witnessed and venerated by devotees and sages alike.

To stay at BRM during this divine event is to witness living mythology in motion—to be part of a story written in the footsteps of the gods.
